Oregon at a glance

Oregon is a city in eastern Lucas County, on Lake Erie and Maumee Bay, just east of Toledo. The 2020 census counted 19,950 residents. I-280 and State Route 2 connect Oregon with downtown Toledo. Homes farther east, toward Jerusalem Township, are a longer drive.

Most housing is single-family. Streets closer to the Toledo line tend to be older. Subdivisions farther east and south are generally newer. Some homes along Bayshore Road and near the bay sit on or near the water.

Parks and water

Pearson Metropark, inside the city, preserves a stand of the old Great Black Swamp, with woods, ball fields, and fishing. Maumee Bay State Park is on the Oregon and Jerusalem Township line, with a beach, a boardwalk, and a lodge on the bay.

Waterfront and near-water homes here are year-round houses in the Toledo metro. That is a different market from the seasonal cottages around Port Clinton and Catawba. See Port Clinton and Catawba lake homes for that shore.

Public schools for much of Oregon are Oregon City Schools. District lines do not always follow city limits, so check the district for the exact address. This site does not rate or compare schools.
