Holland is a village in eastern Springfield Township, Lucas County, between Maumee, Sylvania, and the west side of Toledo. The village counted 1,820 residents in the 2020 census. Springfield Township around it counted 26,957, so most homes with a Holland address are in the township, not inside the village. I-475, Airport Highway (State Route 2), and Holland-Sylvania Road are the main routes.

Housing is largely single-family subdivisions from the later 1900s, with ranches, two-story houses, and some newer construction. The village core is smaller and older than the subdivisions around it.

Parks and water

Oak Openings Preserve Metropark is west of the township. Holland-Sylvania Road runs north toward Sylvania. This is an inland part of the metro, not a river or lake frontage.

Schools

Springfield Local School District, based in Holland, serves the village and Springfield Township. It also includes some neighborhoods with Maumee, Monclova, or south Toledo mailing addresses. Confirm the district for the exact address. This site does not rate or compare schools.

The single-family median for ZIP 43528 covers Holland and much of Springfield Township, not the village alone. It has generally landed between the Maumee and Sylvania ZIP medians.
